Jewellery. Brooch. Hunt and Roskell, London. Gold, cast and chased in the shape of a spray of wild roses; detachable brooch-pin-fastening (A) screwed onto the back. Accompanied by a two-pronged pin (B) which converts the brooch into a hair ornament when screwed into the back in place of the pin-fastening. In rectangular maroon velvet case (C), the lid of which is lined with white silk and stamped in gold with the maker’s name and address.
